Emaar, one of the world’s largest real estate developers, is looking to collaborate with you!
Due to the sheer size of their supply chains and the volume of assets, the real estate and construction industries have a substantial impact on the environment. To achieve a positive impact, Emaar has established its own goals that align with the ESGs and SDGs and is continuously working towards attaining them.
To achieve these objectives, Emaar seeks to collaborate with startups and scaleups to jointly address present challenges. This Challenge is centred on enhancing the efficient use of natural resources and other solutions, with a particular emphasis on the sustainability of energy and water. As long as they align with the ESGs and SDGs, all solutions that will help achieve these objectives are welcomed. Data and blockchain-based solutions are encouraged to participate.
What are we looking for?
Efficient use of natural resources: The entire world, but especially Dubai, is a place where natural resources are scarce. We are looking for sustainable and efficient uses of the natural resources we have, including:
- Reutilization of material, energies, waste, etc.
- Sustainable materials – eg: for construction, furnishing, design, etc.
- Sustainable water solutions - eg: solutions for the water conservation in Dubai Fountain
- Energy and water optimization – eg: leak detection, energy storage
- Renewable energy solutions - eg: Brine water solution, solar panels, energy generation
- Sustainable and Green city solutions – eg: possibilities to cool the city in very hot temperatures
Sustainability within the construction & real estate industry: additional solutions that can support Emaar in reaching its sustainability goals.
Solutions that improve the circular economy are strongly encouraged.
What we are NOT looking for?
- Vendor lock-in solutions
- Solutions that are not cost effective
- Solutions that are difficult to implement logistically
- Solutions with no track record of success
